My indifference to English
Today while I was walking at the Taipei Railroad Station, a foreigner approached me. she seemed to be lost. She asked me if I could help her. I said O.K. but when she started talking I couldn’t understand a single word she uttered. Ashamedly, I could only say“I don’t know”, then I slowly walked away. My failure to communicate with her is the result of my indifference to English. The truth is I’ve been too lazy to study English. The result is although I’ve been studying English for three years now, I still can’t understand English well enough.

忽视英语的下场
今天当我走在台北火车站的时候，一个老外向我走过来。她好像迷路了。她问我可不可以帮助她。我说好。但是当她开始说话的时候，我却一个字也听不懂。丢脸的是，我只能说“不知道”，然后慢慢地走开。我与她的沟通失败是由于我忽视了英语所造成的。事实上我一直太懒了以至于没学好英语，而结果是虽然我现在已经学了三年英语，但却仍然不能很好地理解英语。
