Being late
I must have slept too little last night because when the alarm clock went off this morning I didn’t hear it and I slept until it was nearly seven o’clock.When I got up I was surprised to see that the sun was already high up.Then I felt my blood racing to my heart. I quickly jumped out of my bed and shouted”Oh,my god, I’m going to be late.”Hurriedly, I put on my uniform,shoveled all my books into my bag,and in a flash was out of the house. I ran as fast as I could to the bus stop,but there was no bus.My mind was deciding whether to go by taxi or wait for the bus for another five minutes. I decided to wait.Fortunately before the five minutes were up a bus came.There were a lot of people on the bus. I was the last person who was able to squeeze into the bus. I was praying while on the bus that the bus driver would go faster,but it went on chugging along its route.
At last,the bus stopped at my school. I got off and rushed into my classroom in Englang Training Cengtre.Before I could catch my breath,the teacher took one look at me and then told me to stand in the corner.Everyone looked at me too.All my effort was useless. I think that I’ve learned my lesson today.Next time I’ll just take my time if I’m late.

迟到
因为做英语培训学校布置的作业做的比较晚，昨晚我一定睡得太少了，同时因为今早闹钟响的时候，我竟然没有听见，而一直睡到将近七点才起床。起来时才发觉太阳已经高照。我一时心跳加速，急忙跳下床，大喊着：“天啊！我要迟到了。”匆忙穿好制服，把全部的书都塞进书包，闪电般跑出来，尽快地跑到公车站，却不见公车的踪影。我不知道该搭计程车呢，还是再等五分钟。最后我决定等。很幸运地，还没到五分钟，公车就来了，满载着乘客。我是能够挤进去的最后一个人。在车上我一直祈祷司机开快一点，但是车子仍然沿着路线轧轧地走。
最后，车子停在我的学校了，我下车，赶快跑进优朗英语学校的教室。还没来得及喘气，老师就瞪着我，罚我站在角落。每个人也都看着我，所有的努力都白费了。我想今天我是得到教训了，下回如果我迟到，我就干脆慢慢地走。
