You Are Not the Flight Instructor?
A photographer from a well-known national magazine was assigned to cover the fires at yellowstone was assigned to cover the fires at yellowstone national park. The magazine wanted to show some of the heroic work of the fire fighters as they battled the blaze.
When the photographer arrived, he realized that the smoke was so thick that it would seriously impede or make it impossible for him to photograph anything from groud level. He requested permission to rent a plane and take photos from the air. His request was approved and arrangements were made. He was told to report to nearby airport where a plane would be waiting for him.
He arrived at the airport and saw a plane warming up near the gate. He jumped in with his bag and shouted, “let’s go!” The pilot swung the little plane into the wind, and within munutes they were in the air.
The photographer said, “ Fly over the park and make two or three low passes so I can take some pictures.”“Why?” asked the pilot.” Because I am a photographer,” he responded,”and photographers take photographs.”
The pilot was silent for a moment; finally he stammered,”You mean yuou’re not the flight instructor?”

全国有名的某杂志的一个摄影记者被指派到黄石公园,拍摄那里的火灾情景,以进行全面报道。杂志社想要把消防人员在熊熊烈火中英勇灭火的情景展现在人们眼前。
摄影记者来到黄石公园时,他发现烟雾太浓,严重妨碍了从地面拍摄,或者说从地面拍摄是根本不可能的。他请求允许他租用一架飞机,从空中拍一些照片。他的请求获得了批准,有关部门对此做了安排。他被告知到附近机场报到,有一架飞机在等他。
他来到机场看到一架飞机在登机门附近预热,于是便拎着他的包跳上飞机,大声喊道:“咱们走!”飞行员迎着风摇摇晃晃地驾驶着那架小飞机几分钟后,他们就飞到了空中。
摄影记者说:“飞到公园上空,在那儿低空飞行两三圈,我好拍一些照片。“为什么?”飞行员问道。“因为我是摄影记者,摄影记者的工作就是拍照。”摄影记者回答道。
飞行员沉默了一会儿,终于结结巴巴地说出话来:‘你的意思是说你不是飞行教员?”
