III. Make dialogues in the following situations.
1.       A customer from Morocco, who has been to China for the first time, pays a  visit to know something about our payment terms. As a matter of fact, he is quite new to foreign trade. Our staff explians to him our payment terms in detail.
2.       A customer, who has does business with you for quite a few years, asks youf or D/A payment terms. For friendship’s sake, you exceptionally agree to his request.
3.       During the talk your customer makes a suggestion to adopt D/P payment terms for his imports. He also reasons that D/P is usual international practice. You explain to him why you insist in persuading him to accept it.
IV:Translate the following into English orally.
  F: 如果你能接受我们用付款交单方式付款,那可就帮了我们大忙了。
  C:但是十分抱歉,我们不能接受付款交单条件。对于普通订单,我们无论进口或出口都坚持有信用证的上做生意。
  F:我们公司在世界市场上享有很好的声誉,你们完全不必为这一点点小小的金额担心。
  C:我完全相信你所说的话,但是,当前世界经济状况每况愈下,金融市场变化迅速。因此在这个时刻,更加应该坚持信用证的付款方式,以取得银行的保护。这对双方都有好处。
  F:开出信用证,我们必须支付一定的押金和手续费,这必然将占压我们的资金。同时也就意味着我们进口商品成本的增加。
  C:对不起,我理解你的处境, 但这实在是没办法的事情。
  F:这么说我只有同意了。不过,我们是否能迟些时间开证呢?比如说,在装船前10天及至一个星期。如此一来,就可以减少我们资金在银行质押的时间了。
  C:恐怕信用证来得太晚也不行。那样我们就来不及按照合同规定的时间交货,最终还是影响你们的销售。
  F:那你要我们什么时候开立信用证呢?
  C:我得在装运前30天左右将信用证开到我方,以便我们备货,租船订舱,同时,你还得注意信用证有效期必须保留到装船后第15天,以使我们有足够的时间准备单证,向银行议付货款。
  F:老天爷,进出口就这么麻烦呀!
