Joan:  Xiao yang, what should I do if I come across some serious medical emergencies in Beijing?
Xiao Yang:  You can call 120. They will reach you in a very short time, give you first aid, and send you to hospital, if necessary.
Joan:  What if I’m in a distant place? Can they reach me, too?
Xiao Yang:  Well, it’s not very easy sometimes. But they have helicopters in distant areas.
Joan:  Sounds not bad. Is it open 24 hours?
Xiao Yang:  Sure it is.
Joan:  Great. What’s the number again?
Xiao Yang:  That’s 120. And don’t forget to tell the operator the symptoms of the patient, where your are and also your contact phone number.
