Ｒ＝I’d like to ask you a few questions about your company. 我想问一些有关你们公司的事情。

Ｅ＝Sure. What would you like to know？对的，你想知道什么呢？

Ｒ＝Your company is based in Japan, isn’t it? 你们公司的总部在日本，是吧？

 

　　　Yes

Ｅ：Yes, it is. Our head office is in Japan, but we have sales subsidiaries in sixteen countries., plus fifteen factories outside of Japan. 是的，我们总部在日本，但是我们在日本之外的１６个国家都设有销售分部，还有１５个工厂。

Ｒ＝Where and when was the company founded/ 公司是在什么时候哪儿成立的？

Ｅ＝It was founded in Osaka in 1937? １９３７年在大阪成立。

Ｒ＝What did the company initially produce? 公司最初生产什么呢？

Ｅ＝We started out making cameras, but later on we branched out into business machines.

公司最初生产相机，但是后来我们开拓进入了商用机器生产领域。

Ｒ：Ｗhat does the company make now? 现在公司生产什么？

Ｅ：Well, we still make cameras of course, but we also turn out photocopiers and printers.

    当然我们还从事相机的制造，但是我们也生产复印机和打印机。

Ｒ:And how has business been going recently?　最近公司的业务如何？

Ｅ:Very well. Ales are growing six or seven per cent a year, mostly in export markets and we opened a new office in China last

year.

很好。销售额每年增长大%~7%，主要是出口业务。去年我们在中国设立了一个新的办事处。

 

E：Well, we do a lot of business in Japan, but the copany is actually based in Singapore.
