一、AEAS英语词汇考试真题：
要求考生在20分钟内完成30题或30分钟内完成50题，包括多选和填空两种题型。

四、AEAS英语口语考试真题
第一部分：2-3分钟，自我介绍（不计分，可以理解为考前热身）；第二、三部分：选题发言或看图说话，4-5或5-6分钟。

五、AEAS英文写作题
4-6年级、7-9年级是比较简单的应用文写作；10-12年级是命题作文（议论文），所给题目往往有社会深度、抽象思维或现实意义。

从以上列举的AEAS考试真题中，不难发现该测试对于中小学考生来讲确实有不小的难度：首先是英文词汇部分，小编找了一些AEAS真题中出现的词汇“participate、uniform、venue、commencement、pursue、applause、relief teacher、choir、common room”，可发现其中一些词汇已超出中小学课程标准。根据AEAS培训经验，优朗建议中学考生的词汇量储备在4000到5000词左右（介于大学英语四级至英语专业四级水平），才能更好地应对英语测试。
其次是AEAS英语阅读理解题，该实体所选文章难度类似雅思考试，要在规定时间内完成答题要求，考生必须做到——快速阅读全文、读懂题意并定位原文、排除答案陷阱、选出正确选项。据粗略估算，平均每道阅读题只有一分钟的答题时间。紧迫的时间压力是考生最大的挑战。第三部分是AEAS听力考试，难点在于“听力顺序与答题顺序不一致”，有时候文章开头播放的内容，在第5、6题才考，对考生的短时记忆以及掌握文本大意的能力提出较高的要求。此外，AEAS听力考试还会考察细节问题，甚至是一个人名、地名，或者材料中的某一个单词，十分考验学生的注意力集中程度，对听记准确度要求过高。对于报考低年级组的学生来讲，稍不留神就会错过几道细节题。
最后的口语与写作部分，重点考察学生的综合能力，对学生的逻辑思维提出更高要求：当他们面对比较抽象或有深度的话题时，会从哪些角度进行剖析？考官不仅会从口语发音或单词语法角度评分，更会评析考生构建的答题框架是否条理清晰，完整表达了自己的观点。
