   Mind 一词在口语中运用很广，能表达许多意思，应多加注意使用。

The arrangement has been made, and we suggest you make up your mind to it.

expect 基本含义是“期待，指望”， 口语中也经常使用。后面接宾语或不定式或that从句。

We are expecting your reply to our inquiry.

We expect a new supply next month.

我们预计下月将有新货到来。

We expect to conclude business with them at our price terms.

预计将按我们的价格和他们成交。

It is expected that buyers will re-enter the market soon.

   We expect the consignment to arrive here next Wednesday.

   估计货物下周三到达这里。

   如果订货数量大，能否得到折扣呢？

   One 经常用来代替前面刚刚提到过的东西或人,以免重复。

  很抱歉蝴蝶牌缝纫机脱销，但是我们可以供应一种质量相同的缝纫机。

  There two samples are of the same variety but different in color, which one do you like? The light blue one or the dark green one?
