Jenny  It was a really nice evening. Thanks very much.

Peter  I enjoyed it too. I hope we can do it again soon.

Jenny  Me, too.

Peter  Well, good night.

Jenny   Good night. Oh, thanks again for the book.

Peter  I hope you enjoy it.

(jenny 走进家里)

Jenny  Hi.

Jack  Hello.

Paula  Hi, jenny.

Jenny  Hi, Paula. Hey! Why aren’t in bed?

Jack  I said she could stay up. She’s written a poem that she’s stay up. She’s written a poem that she’d like to read to you.

Jenny  Oh, great!

Paula  How was the date, Jenny?

Jack  Paula, read the poem, please.

Paula  Did he kiss you?

Jack  Paula, the poem!

Paula  OK. ‘My Special Friend’ by Paula Nixon. ‘My special friend looks after me. We also have some fun.

Jenny is very dear to me, mom and sister all in one.’

Jenny  Oh, Paula. That’s beautiful.
