Sam  : Can I make an appointment with another doctor ? I need to come in soon .

在美国看病最麻烦的事儿就是预约。美国与中国情况不同，美国一般看医生需要打电话预约，这也是为什么感冒发烧一类的小病一般大家都不去医院的原因，有预约的时间，病早好了。而且即使你顺利见到了医生，也是先需要在医院填一堆表，表上经常都是病和药的名字，估计GRE考满分的学生看这些也费劲，况且还发着烧，脑子都不清醒，还怎么可能会正确地填表。总之，如果不是什么必须去医院的病，自己给自己看就行了。不过直接去急诊的话可以省去预约这个环节，但这只针对十分紧急的情况。
